{"id":1675,"date":"2008-03-15T17:28:54","date_gmt":"2008-03-15T17:28:54","guid":{"rendered":"0"},"modified":"2008-03-15T17:52:57","modified_gmt":"2008-03-15T17:52:57","slug":"i_totally_forge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/marcdanziger.com\/?p=1675","title":{"rendered":"I Totally Forget To Mention&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>That <a href=\"http:\/\/longbeachopera.org\/\" target=\"browser\">Long Beach Opera<\/a> is doing another performance this weekend &#8211; you can still go tonight at 8pm or tomorrow at 4 and see film star <a href=\"http:\/\/www.michaelyork.net\/\" target=\"browser\">Michael York<\/a> make everyone in the theater cry with his impassioned recital of Tennyson&#8217;s Enoch Arden (accompanied on piano by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usc.edu\/schools\/music\/private\/faculty\/sylveste.php\" target=\"browser\">Lisa Sylvester<\/a> playing Strauss), and then make everyone in the audience laugh uncontrollably (yas, I remember my post from yesterday) playing in a multmedia piece with shadow puppets, a short film starring a Superman doll (and Robin!), real puppets, a small orchestra (with a <a href=\"http:\/\/fluteprayer3029.blogspot.com\/2008\/03\/frankenstein-is-dancing.html\" target=\"browser\">blogger<\/a>!) and amazing dancers from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rogueartists.org\/\" target=\"browser\">Rogue Artist Ensemble<\/a>. York even blows up and pops paper bags &#8211; <b><i>that&#8217;s<\/i><\/b> not something you&#8217;ll see a major star do every day!<\/p>\n<p>Seriously, it&#8217;s an amazing performance. LBO (disclosure: I&#8217;m on the board) fully did it again.
