{"id":282,"date":"2003-12-11T15:23:12","date_gmt":"2003-12-11T15:23:12","guid":{"rendered":"0"},"modified":"2006-09-28T12:08:26","modified_gmt":"2006-09-28T12:08:26","slug":"iraq_coverage_click_here_now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/marcdanziger.com\/?p=282","title":{"rendered":"Iraq Coverage: Click Here Now"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.instapundit.com\/archives\/012972.php\" target=\"browser\">Instapundit<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/rogerlsimon.com\/archives\/00000548.htm\" target=\"browser\">Roger Simon<\/a> are all over the unbelievable, disgraceful, infuriating lack of coverage of the antiterrorist march in Iraq.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike the Western antiwar demonstrators, who talk of &#8216;repression&#8217; while getting free legal assistance, the demonstrators in Iraq are, literally, risking their lives.<\/p>\n<p>And while I certainly won&#8217;t claim to have enough knowledge or perspective to come to a conclusion as to what these demonstrations really mean, I can absolutely say that by not covering them, the media are denying me &#8211; and everyone else &#8211; the ability to formulate that perspective.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m disgusted. But not, sadly, surprised.<\/p>\n<p>If you share that response, you might want to send an email to the <a href=\"mailto:public@nytimes.com\" target=\"browser\">New York Times Public Editor<\/a>, or his <a href=\"mailto:readers.rep@latimes.com\">Los Angeles Times equivalent<\/a>.
