{"id":1135,"date":"2006-06-30T08:11:12","date_gmt":"2006-06-30T08:11:12","guid":{"rendered":"0"},"modified":"2006-09-28T12:09:48","modified_gmt":"2006-09-28T12:09:48","slug":"rob_smith_acidm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marcdanziger.com\/?p=1135","title":{"rendered":"Rob Smith &#8211; Acidman Mars &#8211; A Farewell"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I can&#8217;t believe I missed the news that Rob Smith, better known as Acidman Mars on his blog &#8216;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.gutrumbles.com\" target=\"browser\">Gut Rumbles<\/a>&#8216; died.<\/p>\n<p>Rob and I had some ding-dong blog discussions back when I was a sprout. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.armedliberal.com\/archives\/000492.html\" target=\"browser\">Here&#8217;s<\/a> something I said about him then:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><i>You want ballsy honesty, you want the truth?? Yeah, you can handle the truth, and here it is.<\/p>\n<p>\nThere are more Acidmans in the world than we recognize. Not nearly as many as I wish there were&#8230; <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Somehow, I&#8217;m picturing Acidman and Denise Denton sitting at a bar, drinking Bourbon and Scotch&#8230;I&#8217;d pay-per-view that discussion, for sure.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m off for the weekend, headed north for a wedding.
