{"id":1574,"date":"2007-12-01T22:01:39","date_gmt":"2007-12-01T22:01:39","guid":{"rendered":"0"},"modified":"2007-12-01T22:04:52","modified_gmt":"2007-12-01T22:04:52","slug":"tnr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marcdanziger.com\/?p=1574","title":{"rendered":"TNR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, <a href=\"http:\/\/tnr.com\/politics\/story.html?id=51f6dc92-7f1d-4d5b-aebe-94668b7bfb32&#038;p=1\" target=\"browser\">they published the results of their long investigation<\/a>, and while I ought to be charitable &#8211; it&#8217;s difficult when they go on for 15 pages and don&#8217;t say much other than that they feel very sorry for themselves, abused by the military public affairs apparatus, and wronged by right-wing bloggers, essentially it is an Emily Litella &#8220;Never Mind&#8230;&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Personally, a two-sentence &#8220;Sorry about that, here&#8217;s what we&#8217;re going to do to get it right next time&#8221; would have made me far happier.<\/p>\n<p>I can think of more than a few holes in the piece, but I have to go on the roof and install a weather station as a part of my effort to make the case to my city government that they should let me put up a windmill.
