That<\/b><\/a> didn’t work so well.<\/p>\n

It’s Clinton in a relative landslide here in California. The overall race today is advantage – somewhat – Clinton. This presents a host of pretty interesting problems. Ed Morrisey<\/a> summarized one serious one – which is that Hillary’s institutional advantage with the Party machinery will play strongly to her advantage in getting the nomination, leaving the Obama fans who are serious about change feeling somewhat out in the cold.<\/p>\n

The structure of Hillary’s victories tonight – winning big in the bluest of blue states, and losing in the states that might be a tossup – emphasize her weakness as a general election candidate. Again – how is it, in the face of an unpopular war and a much-derided Administration – that the Democrats risk losing?<\/p>\n
