The topic: race.<br \/>\nYou want ballsy honesty, you want the truth?? Yeah, you can handle the truth, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gutrumbles.com\/archives\/001536.php\" target=\"browser\">here<\/a> it is.<br \/>\nThere are more Acidmans in the world than we recognize. Not nearly as many as I wish there were&#8230;<br \/>\nI have to piss on his feet just a little bit though (hey, I yam what I yam). For every Richard Mack who walked through a brick wall of prejudice and came out the other side, how many didn&#8217;t?<br \/>\nI&#8217;ve had the honor of meeting one of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pbs.org\/wgbh\/amex\/kids\/civilrights\/features_school.html\" target=\"browser\">Little Rock 9<\/a>. He and I actually disagree on a number of things, and I was happy to wrestle with him as we talked over the dinnertable.<br \/>\nBut I looked into his eyes as he talked about what it was like&#8230;damn. Any words I use are inadequate. I can&#8217;t imagine it, and I have a <b>really<\/b> good imagination.<br \/>\nWe&#8217;ve come a hella long way, and I&#8217;m proud of what we all have done&#8230;of my dinner-mate, and of the Acidman too.<br \/>\nDoesn&#8217;t mean we&#8217;re done yet.<br \/>\n<i>(added link to Little Rock 9)<\/i><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Acidman Mars gets his rant on in a big way.
