Well, for some reason preview doesn’t show the states I’ve lived in. They are:

California, Colorado, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia

Yeah the underline doesn’t work, maybe the comment spam filter thinks that the underline is a link. I italicized states where I lived and bold italicized FL where I live

  5. Okay I’ll play

Some of you folks need to get out more. I have not been to a state yet that did not have something unique and beautiful. Once you leave the work a day world and travel the people everywhere are pretty darn nice, too.

  7. Mrs. D., do I get double credit for having lived in both northern California *and* the west side of LA? Practically two different countries …

If not, maybe I can at least get a few bonus points for having worked for a real good ol’ boy plugged deeply into southern politics. Now *that* was a broadening experience for this Pennsylvania small town girl LOL.

  8. Sure, Ms Burk. But, as you know most states are diverse, even Delaware and Rhode Island. It is actually amazing how well travelled the readership revealed thus far is. I must admit to loving to travel around the country off interstate. It is a great way to understand how big and wonderful this country really is.

I believe that is part of what makes WoC so appealing. There are a lot of folks here who have a widened and diverse view of the USA and many foreign countries as well. Personally if I had to choose a city to live in in the USA it would be Chicago. That’s not to say that other cities in the US don’t fair well. Just my personal preference. Since I don’t have to choose the Shenandoah in my backyard suits me fine.

Used USMC’s convention. NM is on this spring’s vacation list, hard to believe we haven’t been there before.
