My friend Patterico has been going through the trials of Job in dealing with managing and hosting his blog, and to make things just absolutely perfect for him, it now appears that his domain may have been hijacked.
You can access his site temporarily at http://70.32.75.225. Please bookmark it and check there for updates.
And think good thoughts for him!!
What was Patterico’s crime, keeping a copy of the article that originally appeared on the LA Times’ website quoting someone who attended Obama’s coming out party at Ayers’ house, way back when? An event Obama now denies ever happened and the reference to which the LAT has reportedly removed from its website now.
Guess that what happens when you disagree with liberals. So much for their idea of free speech.
Hey what can you expect when someone “speaks truth to power”.
Keep in mind, the ideology of those opposed to people like Patterico are the same people who wanted to exterminate 25 million American’s when they wrested control from the evil bourgeoisie
Thank you for the update on where to find the site, AL.
Guys, I was neck deep in these issues, and please – PLEASE – do not make something political out of this. No one is silencing Patterico except the normal Internet SNAFU’s…
A.L.
Maybe, so but when’s the last time, Kos or the Huff Po suffered
a DOS attack. I can’t tell you how many times, a right leaning or even anti-Islamist blog has been out of order.
Narciso,
Patterico didn’t suffor a DOS attack. He chose a lousy hosting company.
Everyone knows 1&1 sucks.
“I can’t tell you how many times, a right leaning or even anti-Islamist blog has been out of order.”
I guess anti islamist right wingers are just lousy at choosing hosting companies.
The actions taken against Patterico are deliberate, not an error. The reasons are unknown, but there is nothing normal about having your domain auctioned off over your protests.
