The 82nd could mean the Division HQ, or any of the brigades (who can deploy separately from their division HQ — that’s the idea of a BCT, “Brigade Combat Team”). Army deployments require a certain ‘dwell time’ between them, so it’ll be a while before his unit heads out again.
