    Thanks for remembering. We all owe an enormous debt to those who defended our freedom that day.

  3. It is good also to remember the aptly named Battle of Midway, the turning point of the Pacific war. Bravo to all those who fought and won it, especially the guys on damage control.

  4. Bravo to the U.S Navy too for standing alone in such critical moments, for their ingenuity in repairing the Yorktown and the courage of sending her and her sisters against the overwhelming Japanese forces.
